Manually entered Start and End dates applied to the Course Details of a Canvas course affect how Canvas courses display on the All Courses page in Canvas.
- Courses in which a faculty member manually sets a Start Date with a future date and time will appear in the Future Enrollments section of the All Courses page for both the instructor and students.
- Courses with an End Date set to a past date and time will appear in the Past Enrollments section of the All Courses page for both the instructor and students..
Faculty who import course content should review the Start and End dates of their course to ensure that either the Start and End date fields are empty or that manually entered dates are accurate. Empty fields will cause the course to use the default dates set for the term.
