Kaltura is Oregon State University's video platform. Kaltura Capture is Kaltura's screen recording tool for Windows and MacOS. MacOS Catalina has increased it's privacy and security settings and running Kaltura Capture on MacOS Catalina will require enabling additional permissions for this - or any other - screen capture software.

Resolution
MacOS Catalina requires additional permissions to run Kaltura Capture successfully. To run the software, change the following settings.
System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General > (unlock the padlock) > Choose "App Store and identified developers" > (lock the padlock)
System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > (unlock the padlock) > Choose "Camera" > Check KalturaCapture (repeat this process for "Microphone" and "Screen Recording") > (lock the padlock)
