MS Teams - Unable to Use Attachments

Issue/Question

• I can't use attachments features in Microsoft Teams. I get the error "Sorry, you need OneDrive for Business to share files. See your admin about getting a license."

Environment

• Oregon State University
• Employee or Student
• Microsoft Teams 

Cause/Explanation

We have had a few users who are current students or employees but were not licensed properly for Teams. Our Office 365 administrators can correct this issue when it occurs.

Resolution

• Make sure to login with your username@oregonstate.edu (See MS Teams - How do I Login?)
• If you see a message like "Sorry, you need OneDrive for Business to share files. See your admin about getting a license," contact the Service Desk for assistance. The Service Desk will escalate the issue to the OSU Office 365 team.
