OSU Gmail - Setup Gmail on Android Device

• How do I access my OSU Gmail account from my Android device?

Explanation

Use the built-in Gmail app to access Gmail on an Android device.

Resolution

1. Open the Gmail app
2. Click on the profile icon in the top-right corner
3. Select "Add another account"
4. Select "Google"
5. Enter your device PIN if prompted
6. In the "Email or phone" box enter your username@oregonstate.edu and click "Next"
7. You may see a screen that says "Your Google Account is managed by oregonstate.edu"; click "Accept"
8. Sign in on the Oregon State University login page with your username and password
   
   • You will need to Duo auth when prompted
9. Once the account is added, click on the account and select "Account sync"; you can choose whether to synchronize calendar, contacts and other items.

Note: to switch between accounts on an Android device, click on the account icon in the upper-right corner and select the account you wish to view.
