MS Teams - Find the Owner of a Team or Private Channel

• How do I find the owner of a team or private channel in Microsoft Teams?

• Microsoft Teams

Explanation

Note: The Service Desk cannot view owners of teams or private channels. However, people who are members of a team or private channel can view the owners.

Resolution

You can view team owners and members in the management page.

In a Private Team

1. Select the three dots next to the team name
2. Select "Manage team"
   
3. The owner(s) of the team will be listed

In a Private Channel

1. Select the three dots next to the channel name
2. Select "Manage channel"
   
3. The owner(s) of the channel will be listed
