Wireless - Connect to OSU_Secure on Windows 8/8.1/10

Issue/Question

  • How do I connect to OSU_Secure on Windows 8?

Environment

  • Wireless Network
  • OSU_Secure
  • Windows 8/8.1
  • Windows 10

Resolution

Note: If OSU_Secure has been added on the machine before, it may require forgetting the network first.
  1. Click on your wireless network icon in the taskbar.
  2. Click on the OSU_Secure network in the list, and click the Connect button.
    Available wi-fi networks with OSU_Secure selected.
  3. When prompted to "Continue connecting?" choose "Connect."
  4. A window should pop up asking for a user name and password. Enter your ONID Username and ONID Password, and press Enter.

The computer should then connect to OSU_Secure. If this process is not working, forget the network, and try again using the manual instructions.
