OSU Gmail - Setup Gmail in Mac Mail

Issue/Question

• How do I access my OSU Gmail in Mac Mail?

Environment

• Oregon State University
• Employee, Student or Associate
• ONID Account
• OSU Gmail
• Mac Mail

Resolution

1. Open Mac Mail
2. Click Mail > Accounts
3. Select Google from the list and then click "Open Browser" when prompted
   
    
4. Enter ONIDusername@oregonstate.edu and click Next
   
    
5. Sign in on the Oregon State University login page with your username and password
   
   • You will need to Duo auth when prompted
      
6. Select desired options (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Notes) and click Done
   
    
7. Check inbox and if there are emails it should be ready.
