Exchange Online - Turn Suggested Meetings On/Off

The new Outlook Web App (OWA) through Exchange Online will automatically suggest potential calendar meetings based on the content of your emails. You can see how it works here.

The Suggested Meetings feature is a default "add-in" in OWA. This article describes how to turn this add-in on or off.


Turning Suggested Meetings On/Off

  1. Click on the Settings gear in the upper right-hand corner Settings gear is selected.
  2. At the very bottom of the pop up sidebar menu, click on Mail Mail link is highlighted.
  3. On the far-left sidebar, under General, click on Manage add-ins. You may have to expand a few drop-down menus to find the option. 'Manage add-ins' is highlighted.
  4. You will be taken to the add-ins page. Find the Suggested Meetings add-in on the list, then un-check the checkbox in the Turned on column.
    "Suggested meetings" his highlighted and an arrow points to the check box.
  5. Exchange Online will automatically save your changes. If you would like to turn this setting back on, simply re-check the checkbox.
