Internet Explorer - Clearing Cookies and Cache


Certain issues can occur when using Internet Explorer that originate with certain cookies stored on the browser, or the browsers cache of memory. By clearing these it allows the browser to create new cookies and rebuild its a cache with the correct information.


  • Have a computer running Windows 
  • Have a connection to the internet


  1. Click on the cogwheel in the top right corner.
  2. Hover over Safety, then click Delete browsing history....
  3. Make sure Preserve Favorites website data is unchecked and check Cookies and website data and Temporary Internet files and website files.
  4. Click the Delete button. 
  5. You have now cleared cookies and cache!
