Explanation
Adding an Outlook profile is sometimes done as a troubleshooting step. Some issues may be associated with the Outlook profile, and starting fresh may resolve them. Adding an additional profile allows you to try this step without losing the settings in your previous profile.
Additional profiles can also be used to open another mailbox on the same computer.
