- Why is my Mailman list gone?
Environment
Cause
Beginning March 2015, all Mailman lists which have not been used for over 18 months will be disabled and archived. After 18 months, archived lists are deleted.
Resolution
If you need to recover an archived list, contact the Service Desk.

Note: An archived list contains the list configuration, the list's archive mailbox, and the subscriber list. If this information is not needed, a disabled list can simply be recreated with the same name.

Caution: After 18 months, archived lists are deleted. Once a list is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
