Duo - I don't have my phone, how can I use Duo? (Lost or Forgotten Phone)

Resolution

  1. If you have a new phone to replace your lost phone (and the phone number is the same), use the self-service reactivation tool to activate your new phone.
  2. If you have a second Duo device (hardware token, tablet, etc) you may use that to complete your login with Duo.  If you have Duo "push" set as default, you may need to cancel the push in order to use your secondary Duo device.
  3. If you don't have a second Duo device, you'll need to call or visit your IT Support team or the Service Desk to request a Duo Bypass Code.  You will need to speak directly to support staff -- they can't issue you a bypass code based on an email or phone message.  Support staff will verify your identity before issuing a bypass code: this is to prevent someone from pretending to be you to take over your account.
