Issue/Question
- I tried to reset my password for Microsoft Exchange email or Microsoft 365 and received the error "You can't reset your own password because password reset isn't properly set up for your organization."
Environment
- Oregon State University
- Microsoft 365, Office 365
Cause/Explanation
ONID account passwords are synchronized across several services, including Microsoft 365. Because of this, you need to change your password via the ONID web site at onid.oregonstate.edu only.
ONID users cannot change their password with the Microsoft online password reset tool.
