Zoom - Enable "HD Video" Setting for Zoom Desktop Application

Cause/Explanation

When installing the Zoom Meeting Client (Zoom desktop client) from zoom.us/download, HD Video is disabled by default. We are unable to change that setting for user's Zoom desktop clients, so this article will show users how to enable HD Video.

Resolution

Method 1

1. Open and sign-in to the Zoom Desktop Client
   
    
2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Home screen
   
    
3. From the pop-up window, select Video from the left menu options
   
    
4. Check the box next to "Enable HD Video"
   
    
5. Close the Settings window
