Issue/Question
- How do I publish my MS Bookings Page?
- How do I start getting appointments booked through MS Bookings?
Environment
- Oregon State University
- OSU Employees
- MS Bookings
Cause/Explanation
The booking page is the page on your website where customers can schedule appointments with your business, powered by MS Bookings. You can publish your booking page once you have set it up and tested bookings your services to ensure everything is how you want it. Users must publish their booking page to be able to allow "customers" (often students) to book time with them using their MS Bookings calendar link.
You can also unpublish your booking page. If the booking page is unpublished, no links are generated. Unpublishing and not sharing your booking page links is essentially the same as "deleting" it.
Resolution
Publish the booking page
- From the MS Bookings webpage, select the "Booking page" tab on the left-side menu
- Verify your scheduling policies are correct.
- Select Save and publish. You'll see a confirmation message.
- Select Open published page to see your page in a web browse
Unpublish the booking page
- From the MS Bookings webpage, select the "Booking page" tab on the left-side menu
- Select "unpublish"
- Stop sharing your booking link
Note: If you will not be using this booking calendar for a while, you can add "inactive" to the front of your Business Name, which you can edit under the "Business Information" tab
Share the link to your booking page
- From the "Booking page" tab on the left-side menu or from within a specific Service type under the "Service" tab, copy the website link listed under the "Share your page" identifier at the top of the page then paste it where you'd like to share it.
- The "Booking page" link will bring people to a page that lists all of your available service types.
- The specific "Service" page link will bring people to a page that only displays booking options for that specific service type.
