Resolution

  1. Navigate to your device Settings and look for "WiFi". Note: As OS is updated some menu items may change. Device settings window showing "Wi-Fi" option.
  2. Select "OSU_Secure" from the list of WiFi networksWi-Fi settings window showing networks available at OSU.
  3. Set the settings that are available. Some OS's may be slightly different depending on the device and the version.
    1. Make sure EAP method is set to PEAP.
    2. Enter your ONID username into the identity box in the format "username@oregonstate.edu".
    3. Enter your ONID password into the password box.
    4. Phase 2 authentication should be set to MSCHAPv2
    5. Set CA certificate to Use System Certificates
    6. Enter "oregonstate.edu" in the domain field
    7. If prompted to select Online Certificate Status or something similar, please select "Do not validate"

  1. Double Check
    1. Some devices ask for a CA certificate when trying to connect. If yours does, please select "Use System Certificates"
    2. Some devices require a domain to be specified. If you run into this type "oregonstate.edu" in the domain field.
  2. Select "Connect" to connect to wifi.
