- How do I find the network path of a drive in Windows?
Environment
Resolution
- Open the shared drive in File Explorer
- Navigate to the folder in question
- Click on the white space on the right side of the folder path
- Copy this information and paste it into Notepad
Keep in mind the network path letter
- Press the windows key + r at the same time
- Type "cmd" into the Run box and press OK
- Type "net use S:" into the command line and press enter
"S:" should be replaced with the letter from earlier
- Copy the remote name and paste it into Notepad
