Issue/Question
- STUDENT: The class I am registered for does not show up on my dashboard.
- INSTRUCTOR: The class I am supposed to teach does not show up on my dashboard.
- How do I add a course to my dashboard?

Resolution
Check your "All Courses" page to check course publish status or add the course to the dashboard
To check the "All Courses" page for a course, and favorite a course to add it to the dashboard use the following steps:
- Log in to Canvas with your ONID credentials
- In Canvas, click on Courses on the left side pane, then All Courses near the bottom of the fly-out menu
- Search through your list of courses to find the course in question and click the star next to the course to 'favorite' the course and add it to your dashboard
- Students can only add current or future term courses that are published to the dashboard. If the course is not published and you believe it should be, contact the instructor for the course.
- Faculty contact information can generally be found in the OSU Campus Directory. If you aren't sure who your instructor is, you can use the Schedule of Classes or contact the department offering the course.

Course not listed on the "All Courses" page?
For Students
Most registration (Banner) changes are updated into Canvas several times a day, about once per 6 hours. If you have just signed up for a course and it is not listed in Canvas, you may just need to wait a few hours, or overnight, for the changes to appear in Canvas. If you have waited until the following day and the course is still not visible on the "All Courses" page, please contact the Office of the Registrar and verify that you are properly registered for the course. If the Office of the Registrar has confirmed that you are properly registered for the course, please send an email to Canvas@oregonstate.edu with the course information for which you are registered.
For Instructors
Most Banner changes are updated into Canvas several times a day, about once per 6 hours. If your departmental Banner administrator just added you as the instructor of a course, you may need to wait a few hours, or overnight, for the changes to appear in Canvas. If you have verified with your Banner administrator that you have been added as the instructor for the course and it is still not visible on your "All Courses" page in Canvas, please send an email to Canvas@oregonstate.edu with the course information.
