CN - Mac - Known Issues in Mojave

• Is macOS Mojave recommended for Community Network computers?

• Community Network-supported computer

Explanation

Mojave was released on September 24, 2018. It is unsupported by Apple as of October 2021. If you have macOS Mojave, it is recommended that you upgrade to a newer macOS.

Known Issues with macOS Mojave:

• No longer supported by Apple.
• Starting with macOS Mojave, we are deploying ESET Endpoint Security for macOS instead of Microsoft SCEP anti-virus.
• Some applications will not work until they are allowed in the Security & Privacy settings. For more information, see: Allow Remote Access on Mojave Macs

• VMWare Fusion 10 is not supported for Mojave. Upgrade to Fusion 11: https://blogs.vmware.com/teamfusion/2018/09/vmware-fusion-11-is-here.html
• In Chrome web browser, checkboxes may not appear (e.g. in a Qualtrics survey). Work-around is to use Safari or Firefox.
