Explanation
Your ONID account is deactivated when you are no longer an OSU student. Once that happens, you will not be able to access your files stored in Box, and they will eventually be deleted.
Follow the steps below to save your Box data before you leave OSU.
Resolution
- Create a free Box account through box.com with a non-OSU email address. The free account provides 10GB of storage. You may optionally pay for additional storage and services; see https://www.box.com/pricing for details.
- From your OSU Box account, invite your non-OSU email address to be a collaborator on the folder(s) you wish to save.
- From your OSU Box account, change the folder owner to your non-OSU email address.
