Google Calendar - Sharing a Calendar

Explanation:

With Google Calendar you can control who can see your calendars and events. When you make your calendar public, the events on that calendar are public as well meaning that people can search for it and find it in a variety of ways, including via Google Web search. 

Requirements:

  • Have an ONID Gmail account
  • Have a connection to the Internet

Steps:

  1. Go to your Google Calendar
  2. In the calendar list on the left, click on the down-arrow button next to the appropriate calendar, then select Share this calendar.
  3. Select, Make this calendar public.
  4. Unless you only what to share with specific people, then add them to "Specific People"
  5. If you don’t want others to view the details of your events, select see only free/busy (hide details).
  6. Click Save.

If the user does not have Google Calendar, what you can do from here is:

  1. Click on the Calendar Details tab
  2. Scroll down to Calendar Address
  3. Click on HTML
  4. Send this URL to the user via a chat message or email
