How do I recover deleted emails?

Environment

Cause

You may accidentally delete an email(s) and need to recover the deleted item(s) from an Exchange email account. The best way to recover deleted items is to use the web-based Outlook Web Application (OWA). 

Resolution

  1. From within the OWA Right-Click (Secondary Click) on the "Deleted Items" Folder > Select "Recover Deleted Items"
  2. Select the desired items to be recovered
  3. Click the envelop icon to Recover Selected Items (WARNING: don't click the X icon to Purge Deleted Items)
