Issue/Question

• How do I access the exported data location?

Environment

• Oregon State University
• Employee
• CN customer
• Windows or MacOS

Resolution

Windows

1. Copy the link to the exported folder.
2. Paste this link into the address bar in Windows Explorer.
   Note: You cannot use a web browser for this. Windows Explorer has a manilla folder icon.
   
3. If prompted, enter your ONID username and password.
4. The exported data should be in this location.
5. Clicking and dragging the last folder from the address bar lets you create a quick shortcut for future access.
   

MacOS

1. Copy the link to the exported folder.
2. Open Finder and click on "Go" -> "Connect to Server..."
   
3. Paste in the path to the folder.
   NOTE: MacOS requires SMB:// or CIFS:// before the address, as well as .tss.oregonstate.edu after the iscs-export. All backslashes (\) will need to be changed to forward slashes (/).
   
4. Enter ONID credentials if prompted.
   
5. The exported data should be in this location.
