Known Issue: Kaltura video player not loading

Issue/Question

• User visits page with Kaltura video but the player is not loading.

Environment

• Oregon State
  • Kaltura

Cause

Certain ad blocker plugins and extensions can prevent the loading of video players. Kaltura video is HTML5, *NOT* Flash, so no Flash plugin is required.

Resolution

Kaltura video should play in all current web browsers. Determine if an extension or plugin in the user's browser is causing the issue. Try visiting the page in a different browser. If the video loads, then a configuration in the original browser is at fault. Disable or uninstall suspect plugins and extensions.
