Canvas: Change which courses appear and how they appear on the Canvas Dashboard

Overview

Canvas is Oregon State University's Learning Management System. There are several tools available to a user to manage the appearance of their Canvas Dashboard, including:

• Adding or removing course cards, i.e. favoriting/unfavoriting courses
• Creating personalized nicknames for courses, e.g. for courses with similar names
• Rearranging the order of the course cards on the Dashboard
• Changing the Dashboard view (e.g. card vs. list view)

For Instructors

• View all courses (current and past)
• Add or remove courses from the Dashboard (also known as favoriting a course)
• Add a nickname to, change the color of, or move a course card
• Use the To Do list and sidebar
• Change the Dashboard view

For Students
