Instructors have the ability to view Top Hat questions from the perspective of a student, in order to confirm that the question is formatted correctly and try out submitting a response as a student would. Find instructions for doing so in this Top Hat support article.
Instructors who wish to see how your overall course appears in the student view must create a Test Student account. Read instructions in this article on the Top Hat website for creating a Test Student account. It is recommended that instructors use an incognito window to log in to a Test Student account, so you can remain logged in to your instructor account in a regular browser window.
