Cause/Explanation

Skype for Business is part of the Enterprise version of Office and cannot be removed without uninstalling Office.

Resolution

Disable Skype for Business on Startup

1. Run Skype for Business
2. Click the gear icon to open Options
3. Select "Personal" on the left
4. Uncheck "Automatically start the app when I log on to Windows"
5. Click "OK"
6. Close Skype for Business
