Explanation

It is not possible to block someone in our instance of Teams. However, you can mute or hide the chat with them.

Set a Status Message

If you prefer people to contact you via some other method than Teams, you can set a status message to indicate that.

1. In Teams, click on your profile image in the top-right
2. Select "Set status message"
3. Set a message and click "Show when people message me"
4. Set "clear status message after" to "Never"
5. Click "Done"
