Microsoft 365 - OneDrive: Request Files, Create a File Upload Location

Issue/Question

  • How do I create a web location where people without Office 365 accounts can upload files? I don't want the uploaders to be able to see each other's files.

Quick steps:

  1. In OneDrive, create a new folder
  2. Right-click on the new folder and select "Request files"
  3. Enter a name for the folder - this will show on the webpage where submitters upload files
  4. Copy the link that is auto-generated and send it to the people who need to upload files
