Known Issues

  1. I am not receiving messages sent to an Inform distribution list.
    • Employees are listed on the Inform list with their primary email address.  This is automatically populated, and will be your primary Exchange email address.
    • Employees will be on different Inform lists depending on their employee type.  Not all inform messages are sent to all lists.
    • The inform lists are official communication lists to employees, and are populated based on coding set by HR.  If you are a new hire or recently changed jobs, HR may need to update the Inform list coding in your profile.
    • If your position include the Advisor duties you may need to contact Amanda Ronay to be added to the Advisor list.
  2. How do I send a message to an Inform Distribution list?
    • The Inform lists are in the Exchange address book. Posting to the lists is moderated.
      • Senders should contact Gigi Bruce or Amanda Ronay before sending to the campus wide Inform lists (Inform C01-C14).
      • For the Cascades specific lists (Inform C26-C29), senders should first contact Windy Adoretti or Kate Moses.
  3. How do I remove myself from an Inform list?
    • The inform lists are for official communication approved by the Provost office to employees.  Membership is not optional.
