Wireless - Connect to OSU_Secure on Mac

Issue/Question

• How do I connect a computer running Mac OS X to the OSU_Secure wireless network?

Environment

• Oregon State University
• Wireless Network
• OSU_Secure
• MacOS

Resolution

1. Click the wireless icon in the upper-left hand corner and select OSU_Secure from the list.
   
2. A window will open asking for a username/password. Enter your ONID Username in the User Name box, and your ONID Password in the Password Box.
   1. (You may need to input "onid\onidusername" for the username)
3. Click OK.
   
4. Your computer will then attempt to connect to OSU_Secure.
5. If you get a popup similar to the one on the right asking to verify a certificate, click Continue. You may need to enter your computer's administrator password to proceed.
