Windows - Running Check Disk

Issue/Question

• How do I see if my Windows Hard Drive works?
• How do I run Windows CheckDisk?

Environment

• Windows
• Check Disk

Resolution

1. Open up an Administrator command prompt.
2. Type in "CD\".
   • this will take you to the Root of the drive
3. Type in "chkdsk /v".
4.  When finished close the command prompt.
