  • Basic accounts can host limited 40-minute group meetings. One-on-one meetings are not limited.
  • Licensed accounts can host meetings with unlimited minutes for up to 300 participants.
  • Webinar -  OSU holds a limited number of Webinar licenses that can be requested for your event.

Note that Basic accounts have most of the same features of a Licensed account. To request upgrade from Basic to Licensed, contact the Service Desk. Your request will be escalated to the OSU Zoom support team for review.

Not a Current Student or Employee?

If you are not a current student or employee, you can still join Zoom meeting you are invited to, so long as the host provides you with a meeting ID and allows unauthenticated users.

If you need to host meetings, you can sign up for a free Zoom basic account at https://zoom.us/pricing. You will need to use a non-OSU email address.
