Register SSH Server with Information Security Office

Tags sshServer

Overview

A centralized list of all SSH servers is needed to verify and uphold our network access security. This further allows UIT to easily inventory servers for potential vulnerabilities and support.

Any SSH server that is hosted on, and reliant on, the University network and directly accessible from outside the University network must be registered using this ticket. Unregistered servers will not allow connections from outside the local OSU network.

Each individual server requires its own ticket/request. Before registration is approved, all SSH servers must first adhere to the standard configuration detailed here: https://oregonstate.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1935/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=122712
