MacOS - Remote Desktop Quits after Upgrade to Big Sur

Issue/Question

• After upgrading to macOS Big Sur, Remote Desktop quits unexpectedly.

Environment

• Oregon State University
• macOS Big Sur

Resolution

1. Open Microsoft Remote Desktop app
2. Select Preferences -> General Tab
3. Uncheck "Use system proxy configurations"
4. Uncheck "Use hardware acceleration"
5. Save settings and try connecting via Remote Desktop again
