MS Teams - "Reports to" Shows Incorrect Name

Explanation

The "Reports to" field that shows in Teams comes from the "Manager" attribute in Active Directory. The manager field is set manually by IT and is not automatically updated with current information from Banner, so it can become out-of-date.

Resolution

Contact your IT team or the Service Desk to have your manager attribute updated in Active Directory.
