Adobe Creative Cloud - "File syncing disabled"

Issue/Question

  • When I try to access Adobe cloud syncing, I receive the error: "File syncing disabled. Contact your IT administrator for details"

Explanation

Adobe is discontinuing their cloud sync option for all users.

Starting December 11, 2023, new Creative Cloud users no longer have access to the cloud sync feature: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-spinning.html#:~:text=Select%20the%20Account%20icon%20in,Select%20Resume%20File%20Syncing.

In 2024, Adobe will deprecate the cloud sync feature for all users: 

Resolution

Files stored in Adobe cloud sync service will still be available on the user's local computer. For details, see: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/eol-cc-synced-files-for-business-plans.html
