Wireless - I Changed My Password and Now Wireless Does Not Work

Issue/Question

  • I changed my password and now I cannot connect to OSU wireless on eduroam or OSU_Secure.

Environment

  • Oregon State University
  • Wireless Network
  • Eduroam or OSU_Secure
  • Windows 10

Cause 

The wireless profile for eduroam and OSU_Secure stores the ONID password so that it does not need to be entered each time the computer connects. If the password is wrong, it will fail without an error message.

Resolution

Forgetting and reconnecting to the OSU_Secure network will resolve the issue:
