CN - Ricoh MP-C4504EX sending scanned TIFF images

Issue/Question

• Scanned files from Ricoh MP-C4504EX copier saved as TIFF instead of PDF.

Environment

• Oregon State University
• Ricoh Scanner

Cause/Explanation

Default file setting for scanned files is set to TIFF instead of PDF.  

Resolution

Default file setting for scanned files must be set to PDF

1. Must be set via the copier panel, not via web interface
2. Log into the administrative interface on the copier and set the default to PDF
3. Save and log out
4. Test scan to email or folder

Scanned documents should now be set as PDF files.
