Outlook on Windows - Changing Search Options


How do I change the Email search options in Outlook?


When you are trying to find a specific email in Outlook you may want to change the locations you are searching for the email in.

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Click on the search bar at the top of your inbox. This will open the Search ribbon.

    You can also use the drop down menu next to search bar to access several search options.
  3. Select the search option that you would like to use to further refine your search.
