What is Retiree Email?
This is an email service that allows eligible retirees access to an OSU email account after they retire. Employees who officially retire after 25 years will be eligible for this service. Already retired employees with 25 years of service are also eligible.
Retiree email is a brand new, empty mailbox that has an email address of ONIDusername@retiree.oregonstate.edu. Retiree email does not allow access to former email addresses such as first.last@oregonstate.edu, nor does it allow access to the email that was previously in the user's mailbox.
How to Sign Up for Retiree Email
Before you can sign up for retiree email, your account must be converted to retiree status. This cannot be done prior to separation from OSU. Once your account is converted to a new retiree account, you can sign up for it using the steps below.
Resolution
- Visit http://onid.oregonstate.edu/
- Click Activate your ONID and follow the ONID activation instructions
