Mozilla Firefox - Setting Default Browser

Explanation:

This guide will show you how to set Mozilla Firefox to be your default browser. 

Requirements:

  • Have a device with Firefox installed
  • Have an internet connection

Steps:

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox
  2. Open the options menu in the upper right hand corner 
  3. For Windows, select Options from the menu and if MacOS select Preferences

     
  4. Click the Make Default button
  • If Windows, a new Default Apps window will open.  Click under Web Browser to choose a default web browser from the list of installed browsers.

     
  • MacOS will display a prompt, choose the use "Firefox" option
