Identifying your Office for Mac Version
- Launch Microsoft Word.
- From the Word menu, click About Word.
- Find the version number, near the middle of the dialog.

How to Upgrade
System Requirements
Before upgrading to Office 2019 for Mac, make sure your Mac meets the minimum system requirements:
- Operating System: macOS 10.12 (Sierra) or greater.
- Note: Office for Mac is supported on the three most recent version of macOS. As new major versions of macOS are made generally available, Microsoft will drop support for the oldest version and support the newest and previous two versions of macOS.
- Processor: Intel processor.
- Memory: 4 GB RAM.
- Storage: 10 GB of available disk space.
- Display: 1280x800 screen resolution.

Installation Instructions
- Before starting, save all open files and quit Office applications. Back up your data before proceeding!
- Open the Launchpad from your dock.
- Launch the Self-Service application, and log in with your ONID credentials.
- Find the CN - Install Latest Microsoft Office 2019 pacakge, and click Install. The package will automatically remove old Office applications, install new ones, and apply the university license.
- When the progress bar at the top of the Self-Service window disappears, Office 2019 applications are ready for use.
