Docusign - Name Change and Signature Change

Cause/Explanation

Legal name changes are not automatically populated to DocuSign. To change how your name appears in DocuSign, you need to login to DocuSign and update it there.

Resolution

Change Your Name in DocuSign

  1. Browse to: is.oregonstate.edu/docusign
  2. Sign in with your OSU username and password.
    • Note: if your username has changed, use your new username to login.
  3. In the upper right, click on the profile icon and select "Manage Profile." 
  4. After opening-up "Manage Profile", select "Update" in the name section. 
  5. Update your name and click "Save."


Change Your Signature in Docusign

  1. Browse to: is.oregonstate.edu/docusign
  2. Sign in with your OSU username and password.
    • Note: if your username has changed, use your new username to login.
  3. In the upper right, click on the profile icon and select "Manage Profile."
  4. In the left menu section, Click on Signatures. 
  5. Select "Add Signature" to add a signature with your new name and initials.
  6. After that, you can delete the old signature with your old name under the "Actions" drop-down menu.
