Overview
Kaltura is Oregon State University's video platform. Kaltura Capture is a screen recording tool for Windows and MacOS available to everyone at Oregon State University, designed to upload recordings to Kaltura. On rare occasions, the upload may fail or the uploaded recording may fail to encode properly, or perhaps the uploaded video was deleted by accident. In such situations, it may be necessary to re-upload a previously uploaded recording.

Re-upload Your Recording
As of version 4.2.78 of Kaltura Capture, users will find a Re-Upload button that corresponds to each of their recordings in their Library.
Locate and upload MP4 file into My Media
Under certain circumstances, a user many seek to find the original recording files on their hard drive. The location of the recordings will differ on MacOS and Windows:
- In Windows, navigate to C:\Users\<connected user>\AppData\Local\Kaltura\Capture\Recordings
- In MacOS, navigate to /Users/<connected user>/Library/Preferences/Kaltura/Capture/Recordings
The filenames will not be descriptive so you'll have to sort by the most recently modified files to find the correct MP4 file
