Resolution

ChemDraw Login

  1. Navigate to https://informatics.perkinelmer.com/sitesubscription/Register.aspx?FlexeraAccountId=3175
  2. Enter the requested info to create an account with PerkinElmer.
  3. This should send an email asking to set a password.
  4. Once password set, log in to https://perkinelmer.flexnetoperations.com/ with the username and password that was created.
NOTE: If you need to reset your password, you may need to request the password reset from https://informatics.perkinelmer.com/login/ as the other login window hasn't always sent the reset email.
  5. This should show a page with Product Information for ChemOffice Professional.
  6. Click on "ChemOffice Professional".
  7. Download either "ChemOffice Professional - WIN" or "ChemDraw Professional - MAC" depending on your OS.
    NOTE: ChemOffice includes ChemDraw.
  8. In the leftside menu, find "Order History".
  9. Click on the most recent order number.
  10. Make note of the Activation Code for the installer process.

Installing the Software

  1. Run the downloaded installer.
  2. When prompted for activation, enter your name, email, and activation code noted earlier.
  3. Click "Activate".
  4. This should display a message saying "You have successfully activated ChemOffice Professional".
  5. Once activated, return to the installer to finish installing the software.
  6. Accept the license agreement and pick a folder to install the software to (defualt location is usually fine).
  7. Select 32 or 64 bit ChemScript (usually fine to leave this at the default 32 bit).
NOTE: 32 bit is required for using ChemScript/Python with ChemFinder.
  8. With everything selected, click "Install".
