License Restrictions
Available for OSU faculty and staff on institutional or personally-owned devices or computers for use in education and non-commercial research. The campus server currently contains 50 Imagine licenses and 20 Photogrammetry licenses. Student use licenses are available for installation on personally owned devices.
Resolution
If installing from off campus, make sure to connect to the VPN before proceeding.
Individual User Install
To obtain an individual user license for Imagine:
- Fill out the form here: https://oregonstate.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/1935/Portal/Requests/TicketRequests/NewForm?ID=WX-0H2nAptM_
- You will receive a license code shortly.
NOTE: This code is good for installation on ONE computer.
- Once you have the license code, navigate to \\software.oregonstate.edu\software in Windows File Explorer.
- If prompted for a username and password, enter "ONID\[Your ONID Username]" for the username and your ONID password for the password.
- Find the Imagine folder with the desired version and copy the folder to the desktop.
- Run setup.exe.
- Expand the options under imagine and click install.
- Click next and read and agree to the license agreement.
- Select features and install directory (usually fine to leave this at the default values).
- Click next, then install.
- After installed, a first time setup window will open and run.
- ERDAS File Association Manager will open. Check the top box to associate all Imagine file types to open in Imagine, then click apply -> close.
- When launching Imagine for the first time, the program will prompt for a license.
- Select the box for node locked license and enter the provided activation code.
- Click next, and then next again.
- Click finish.
Concurrent Licensing (Labs/Classroom Installation)
- Navigate to \\software.oregonstate.edu\software in Windows File Explorer.
- If prompted for a username and password, enter "ONID\[Your ONID Username]" for the username and your ONID password for the password.
- Find the Imagine folder with the desired version and copy the folder to the desktop.
- Run setup.exe.
- Expand the options under imagine and click install.
- Click next and read and agree to the license agreement.
- Select features and install directory (usually fine to leave this at the default values).
- Click next, then install.
- After installed, a first time setup window will open and run.
- ERDAS File Association Manager will open. Check the top box to associate all Imagine file types to open in Imagine, then click apply -> close.
- When launching Imagine for the first time, the program will prompt for a license.
- Enter the license server found in the text file in the Imagine folder as the sever and click next.
- Click next, and then next again.
- Click finish.
