Exchange - Thunderbird Not Receiving Email Since 12/27/2022

  • Beginning December 27, 2022, my Thunderbird client is no longer receiving email.

The cause of this issue is currently unknown.

This issue may also be impacting other IMAP clients.

  1. In Thunderbird, select the gear icon on the bottom left
  2. Select "General"
  3. Scroll all the way down for "Config Editor"
  4. In the search field, type in: network.dns.ipv4OnlyDomains
  5. Set the value to: office365.com
  6. Close and reopen Thunderbird
  7. Remove "Explanation" section if not applicable.
  8. Add Tags to the article; see Guidelines for tags.
  9. Submit the article for approval.
