Kaltura: Replace a video with another video

Overview

Kaltura is Oregon State University's video platform. Kaltura allows you to replace your media with a new version. This allows you to retain the same URL even though you have a new draft of the same video, and to keep the same historical analytics even though you may have updated the media.

Issue/Question

• How do I replace one of my videos?

Resolution

1. Visit My Media in either Canvas or MediaSpace
2. Click the Edit button for the desired media
3. Click the Replace Video tab

4. Click the Choose a file to upload button
5. Select the replacement video you wish to upload
6. After the file is done uploading, click the Approve Replacement button
