Exchange - Export from Outlook to a File

  1. Open Outlook on your computer.
  2. Click on File in the top left-hand corner
  3. The click on Open & Export located in the top left-hand corner.
  4. Then click on Import/Export.
  5. You should see a menu like the one below. Make sure to select Export to a file and then click next.
  6. In the next menu select Outlook Data File (.pst) and then click Next
  7.  Click Browse for a place to the backup file to go. (Keep track of where you put the file.)
  8. The last prompt will be for a password. Leave the password empty and click ok.

After following the steps above, you can move or copy the PST file to another computer.
